Vote for Canada's coolest school trip

Posted Feb 9, 2012 By EMC News

EMC news - Back in November, the My Parks Pass team challenged Grade 8 classes to make a short video in which they recreate a moment of significance from a national park, national historic site or national marine conservation area.

Organizers have received more than 50 entries from hard-working and creative classes across Canada, including at least one video from each province. The videos witness the Battle at Queenston Heights, heard the remarkable story of Grey Owl and discovered how Torngat Mountains National Park was created. Now Canadians can help to pick the top 10.

Visit the video gallery on the My Parks Pass website at www.myparkspass.ca, pick your favourite video, and vote.

The winning class will be chosen by a judging panel from the 10 classes that receive the most votes. This lucky class will receive an all-expenses paid trip to Banff National Park.
